Soulless was a fun start to the Parasol Protectorate series. There was a little bit of everything in this book: romance, steampunk, urban fantasy, mystery, historical, and paranormal with vampires, werewolves, ghosts, etc. I enjoyed every bit of this story.

I loved Alexia's personality and liked the fact that she was an independent, strong character.

I will be reading the rest of the series. :)
